There is a brand-new ad building in Poptropica for boy characters under age 12. It’s a quest that is about the Percy Jackson movie. To play it make sure your Poptropica character is a boy aged 8-11 and go to any of the islands. The ad building is where it usually is on Main Street to the right.
Go inside and you can talk to Percy Jackson himself. He’ll tell you he needs your help to find three items and return them to Zeus. But the Medusa is inside and she is making it hard to get the items. Go past him and enter the quest. You’ll have thirty seconds to get all the items. The Medusa will often pop up right next to you and a second or two later her green gaze will temporarily turn you to stone if you get caught in it. You also need to watch out for the falling rocks. But other than that it’s kind of easy. This is where you’ll find the three items.
- Winged Sneakers: in the bottom left
- Shield: bottom right
- Bow: just above the shield
After you collect all three items under 30 seconds you will transport to Zeus in a throne room. He totally looks different than he did in Mythology Island! He looks more like the movie version. OK so talk to him and you get two awesome items as a reward. They are his armor and his lightning bolt. Press the spacebar while holding the bolt to call lightning.
