Members will also get a special feature called the Closet, which stores up to 30 different outfits for quick costume changes.

Another part of the Poptropica Friends feature is that when you log in, you can answer things called Pop Quizzes, which are personality quizzes. Your answers make up your Personality Profile, which your friends can see. The more questions you answer, the more Personality Pieces you collect.

They didn’t announce exactly when the new Poptopica Friends features will be launching, but expect to see them soon!

On Monday, the creators rolled out fake noses in the Poptropica Store. For 75 credits (free with membership) you can buy the gold card that gives you three different fake noses and glasses to wear. The noses are different shapes and sizes and the accompanying glasses are in three separate colors: green, purple and red. It’s the perfect getup for some April Foolishness.

Vampire’s Curse Island is now ready for everyone in Poptropica to play.

Woo-hoo! Starting today, everyone can play the full island quest–not just paid members.

The next island coming to Poptropica will be called Twisted Thicket Island. The story behind the new island is that a quiet seaside village has been attacked by mysterious beings that live in a nearby forest. Your mission will be to enter the forest and confront these mysterious creatures. You’ll discover that inside the forest is a world of magic and mystery.

The island follows Norse Mythology and has a Scandinavian theme. Several sneak peek screenshots have been posted both on the official info page and in the Daily Pop section of Poptropica. Very little is known so far, but the island looks like it will be a lot of fun to play.

One thing we do know already is the list of the special members-only bonus items for the island. These are items that will be available in the Poptropica Store for paid members to have. They are the Lumberjerk costume, the Troll costume (with a special power that turns people to stone!) and the Dryad Follower.

In other news, Vampire’s Curse Island will be available for everyone to play this Thursday, March 22. Get ready! Members only have two more days to get the special members-only Vampire Count costume.

Also, remember that you can get into the Vampire Spirit if you have the vampire costumes from the Poptropica Store. There were three different girl costumes and one boy costume placed in the store about two years ago. And you can get the old-school style Dracula costume from the Ghoul party at the end of the Haunted House mini-mission.

Non-members can still access the island, but only play a very short demo. The full island will be available to everyone in a few weeks.

Paid members get an extra bonus: there’s a second short mini-quest you get when the main island is complete. In this mini-quest, you go underwater in a special diving suit and submarine to stop oil leaks that have sprung from the pipes of the sunken ship.

There’s not a lot of details about the new island available yet, but in the past month, the Creators have posted a number of screenshots and sketches into the Sneak Peeks section on Daily Pop.

You’ll travel through a creepy cemetery, an old and possibly haunted house, a scary lighthouse, and even an old, abandoned prison as you try to unravel the mystery of the island. In the end, a whole story is revealed. You can get all the Cheats for Ghost Story Island on the walkthrough page.

Before the island was released, there was a special mini-game available called Spook Central. In this mini-game, you traveled throughout Poptropica to find several ghosts that had escaped.
